A few extra pounds

A few extra pounds

Let me just say at the outset that I support body shaming and all forms of shame .

I met up with a lady . We had both chosen our body type as "a few extra pounds" . Honest Abe I have been meaning to change mine to fatty fatty 2 by 4 but then when I go to actually do it I think "I'm not trying to meet anyone , what's the point ?" But this is the third Local Adult Companion meeting I've had this year so clearly that doesn't hold water . Sidenote maybe the key is not trying ? Anyway , we both tagged ourselves as a few extra pounds and she was as sleek as a stoat while I am as jiggly as a marmot . I have no proof of this bet I would wager that's a gender thing - men tend to think they're not as heavy as they really are while women think they're more heavy than they really are . Not really a huge surprise there (if true) but I had never thought about it before .

It's a cliché that dude's think they're hot balls no matter how gross they are but there is a kernel of truth to it I think .

Speaking of , the other day Betsy points out a svelte young lady to me and says she says "If we ran all the time we'd look like that" and I sighed and said "yeah" sadly . But it got me to thinking , would I rather be in good shape or be as I am now and just get to bang the in shape ladies ? It's a tough call . And here's the deal , I would assume that I would want to be slim so that I could get the women , but it's not . If the pope flew down tomorrow and said to me "Hey 40 , I'll give you whatever body you want for the rest of your life but you'll be impotent" I'd take that deal in a hot Texas minute . So what's it about then ? All there is is sex , Robert California said so , so why do I want to be the Slim Reaper if it's not about getting all kinds of laid ? I wish I knew .

In other news I was talking to Big Boobs (she's been coming around a lot lately , what's that about ? ) and we were lamenting our first world problems and I says to her I says "Yeah , but at least you got someone on your side , it must be nice to have someone you can face these thing's together with" and she looked confused and asked me what I was talking about and I go "Uh , your husband" and she just kind of shrugged and flatly said "Oh . . . . yeah . . . him" . This is not the first time we've had an exchange like this . I know I'm biased because I hate and fear marriage but it doesn't seem as if ANYONE I talk to even likes their spouse . I guess it's hard to be pumped about it all the time .

I would possibly give up sex in exchange for being thin...because let's face it, right now it's only happening about six times a year anyway, and no prospects in sight for more. Being thin is nice, things like bike riding and climbing stairs and cross country skiing are all a heckuva lot easier. Also you are not constantly worrying about whether people are judging you.

So there you go, some reasons to like being thin that don't involve being able to attract more sex partners.

The deal only applies if I still get to masturbate, though. If THAT was off the table I'd probably choose to stay fat.

Marmots get jiggly (not jiggy) during the summer and live off their fat during winter hibernation. They breed in the spring. Fat and sex at different times. The best of both worlds.

Embrace your inner marmot!

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Sounds like a good plan for sure

Banging your way into shape might be asking too much, but it's as good a form of cardiovascular exercise as most. And it sure beats running on a treadmill at the gym, trying to fantasize about banging the girl in the yoga pants 4 machines over!

True but I've found the ladies tend not to like it if you're listening to a podcast during , whereas the treadmill is okay with it

That's the fault of these "ratings", all to often they r the opinion of the person about themselves. and as we all know, that's what makes photos so important!

Good post, something to think about....

Love it. I hate sugar coating.

Speaking of sugar, did everyone hear that fat got a bad from Harvard because the sugar industry (think soft drinks) paid them off in 1967. That's right, 50-years of bad nutritional advice.

I'll just add that exercise, alone, won't get you lean. Low carb is without question the best way to make that happen ... but it's not easy.

That's true of most any advice out there in the world - someone paid for that "study" and they had an agenda of some kind
