Remember what I told you in the last blog

Well I knew it was bound to happen and I when went into the local chat room the hate was spewing. I am sorry for the people that did not like the outcome of the election and it was not all my doing but why so much hate over race? Blacks alone did not determine the outcome, there had to be other races to vote that way too. I am trying to be adult about this but right now I am really hurt that narrow minded people could just lash out at innocent people, but I knew it would happen and I thought I was prepared but I guess I wasn't. Now I feel I am not welcomed in the chat room but hey maybe this site is more than I can handle. Every time I think I have grown more in the adult way, I let something bring me down. And this should not bring me down half these people I don't even know. I don't know what else to say we have four years of change and I know many others will be taking pot shots at blacks due to the new president and I like them will have to be strong and walk tall and keep a smile on my face and just find a new room to hang in. This is an amazing day for America but a sad day for all the haters.

Those who are haters must look at themselves and tell themselves the honest truth. They are racist period. Don't try and walk around masking it because halloween does not last forever. There comes a day when your mask will come off.

I was not for any of the candidates, major party or minor party. I think it is a good thing that a black person was elected president, especially since we are just 40 years past the crux of the civil rights movement, just not this particular person. I very easily could have voted for Condi Rice for president, or J.C. Watts or Michael Steele. I did not want Obama to win but neither was I for McCain, as I had too many problems with his issues. I looked into all three of the third-party candidates that were on the ballot here but they had shortcomings, so I just decided not to vote in the president's race and instead voted in my local races.

Idiots will be idiots, but you and me are still sweethearts!!!

well it did but that your opinion. If he fucks up i will be the first to jump in his case but most are not giving the man a chance to get in office before they are attacking him. Well that's life it's over and I am moving with a few less friends.

girlfriend didn't I tell you what was going to happen after the election and you really need to stop hanging in those chat rooms. I have been sitting in the one you go in and those people don't have a clue. they don't care about you, and the men you choose, I still don't understand why you like white men they are so lame and uncaring but that is your choice and I will always been here for you when they dump on you because you are black and you are a superior woman. HOLLAAAAAAAA

I got nothing against the color, I am NOT white either, I am brown, but I felt that media was hiding things about him, he did not match his speeches. I feel Gen, Powell, Rice or Jesse Jackson, or Shiela Lee Jackson, would have been better choice. In this race this person was not qualified at all. ANyway it is a system and people have spoken, God bless America.

    Quoting  :

i respect ur opinion because we do live in a free country. only time will tell how the next 4 years will go. whether a black man was elected or not is not the issue, will we see any changes in Washington? definitely - because it's a NEW day & a NEW $ - this is with any administration. what changes will there be? we didn't know what the Bush administration would do nor the presidents b4 him. like i said time will tell. this is from an American citizen, not just the black woman in me.

People died so all of us will have the freedom to express our ideas. Haters would love to take that away and only leave their own opinion. What they don't understand is, once one is taken away, all is taken. No one will have the freedom to speak. So, I am all far the haters speaking, it is so revealing!
