For those of us who are out their looking for a partner to get close to, be friends with, have sex with, and numerous variations of the "relationship" theme, don't you wonder when you see them, how other couples found each other?

What are they doing that we didn't....or can't do? Of course, appearances may be deceiving. They might not be the ideal couple you think they are...but they are together...and not alone.

Ah yes, appearances can be and most times are meant to be deceiving. We all have personas that we pull out for different occasions (The Stranger - Billy Joel {where the hell did that come from - lol}). Most couples have a "public" image that, if they have been together long enough, gives the outward impression of happiness, normalcy, and contentment. However, if you watch long enough, you can see the cracks in the armor. They may be together, but they may also be very much alone too.

Where am I going with this? Oh yeah, how did they get together... Don't go thinking that they did anything different than you have or haven't done.

In terms of having a healthy relationship, there is nothing more that you can do beyond being yourself, being honest, and being caring to entice someone to be the other half of a couple with you.

Make sense? If it does, please explain to me!

 I wonder this a lot. But then again, I want to have someone who wants to be with me as opposed to wanting to just be in a relationship for the sake of not being lonely. Plus I used to not be picky at first, but now...I want to be picky. I want someone to want to be with me, to love me for who I am and I the same. But I haven't found someone I'm enamoured with enough to be in that relationship. It's just complicated all around for me I guess.
Who can you call on to save the day?
