Challenging Myself


Not having fun chatting. No having much fun dating either. Used to meet some men I truly connected with here. Not to say I haven't gone out with interesting, intelligent and sexually accomplished men, but there just doesn't seem to be that spark, that initial chemistry.

As I've mentioned before I'm a chatroom addict here. Chatrooms were entertaining, playful banter, exchange of double entendres, Now it seems to be people putting each other down and whining that no one likes them. I cannot discuss the pros and cons of pubic hair or penis size one more time or explain to a 20 something that age makes a difference when he's closer to my grandson's age than mine. I've always prided myself on being friendly, even when annoyed, but my patience is wearing thin and the sarcasm becoming more sardonic.

Not going to make an idle threat like many here who give their good-byes and come back a month or so later. But, I am going to challenge myself to stay out of my local chatroom for a week. Can I do it? Hmmmm.....One more time tonight and that will be it.
