Try to be polite...but

Why is it that when I tell some men that I am not interested in communicating or meeting them they keep asking over and over again? They don't know me as anything but a woman who is rejecting them so why would they want to be with me? I can't have much respect for a man who comes across as desperate. And he certainly doesn't become more appealing the more he asks.

Even though they claim it isn't, it's difficult not to think this is the answer

These men should realize that a firm no is a favor to them. It prevents the man from wasting his time and yours. My guess is the guys pursuing you, despite your obvious lack of interest, have weak social skills. Also, a man with more options would just move on.

It's disturbing. When you receive a polite "no thanks," I think most sane people realize it's time to let go and move on. Even a lack of response should be viewed as a "no" and your cue to look elsewhere.

Most sane guys realize that pestering, badgering or pleading only makes them look less attractive, so we're talking about some sick pups.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.

Why indeed.
Perhaps this approach eventually works with some women? It's one possible explanation at least.

tres had the same problem on this site. People can't read your blog. It doesn't matter you tell them your not meeting they still are wanting to meet you. The two letter word NO has to be used firmly to these folks. Only way to get across how your feeling. Good luck! You are not alone.
