Lasting Affection


Do you have someone in your life that you have an affection for that no matter how seldom you communicate or see each other, that when you do, the feeling is so comfortable and loving? Your lives take you in different directions, but when you do get together, the passion is still there...the desire...the enjoyment....the friendship.

I do.

I mostly am happy about it, and accept and appreciate it for what it is...it's rare to be able to sustain something like that.....but, sometimes, I wish it was more.

 My sentiments exactly! More would be better. But I also cherish and appreciate the moments that are shared. I just hope she believes me when I tell her that.

 I have had a few of those, sometimes they last a while, other times not so much...just depends if both parties agendas stay the same.
