Better than the alternative

There are some that may already consider me an old woman...and there are times I certainly feel like one. Most the time I forget how old I am. I'll catch my reflection in a window or see a picture and say to myself...omg I look like my grandmother. Not that it's a bad thing...but in my mind I'm still under 40.

I always vowed I'd never be the kind of person who would become conservative in their values when they got older. I feel I've succeeded in staying true to the same attitudes and morals, etc. I've had since my teens, despite the fact that I've raised my ...who are all in their 30s and now also nurturing grandchildren. I don't think I've ever lost the desire to be somewhat rebellious...edgy...experimental. As I approach my 59th birthday I feel I am....
