Why Do You Masturbate?

As I was spending a lazy day home alone on the couch, reading, watching tv, blogging, chatting, etc., I wasn't feeling particularly horny, but I had the urge to masturbate...so I did. It got me thinking, why?

I will do it because I'm bored or restless or need a little help falling asleep. I keep my Hitachi Wand plugged in next to my bed. In just a few minutes...a nice big O does the trick.

Other times I masturbate...well...just because I can, and it feels good.

 Like you said...Because you can........I can't have sex whenever I want it but I can masturbate whenever I want...not quite the pleasure of having sex, but still feels good and satisfying

 I live with constant sexual frustration and although I do not do it often - as I don't get totally satisfied with it, I maybe relieve myself once a fortnight just to keep my balls from scraping the floor...

 Hi Tres,
I think you hit most of the high points in your post. I know I do it for most of the same reasons and I'll ask a question myself. Why not? If the urge is there and you have opportunity, why not enjoy the release?
