Question for All Bloggers - Help Please!

As the changes keep happening on this site, I worry about it's demise or at least our access to all the blogs we have written. Anyone have any suggestion as to how to save our blogs elsewhere, short of copying and pasting each one? For some of us that would be an enormous undertaking.

I hate to see all my thoughts and anecdotes disappear in cyberspace or still be there floating around somewhere and me not being able to retrieve them.

Copy and paste is not your only option....I have recently copied all of my blog (7 pages in title view) and I did it by saving each post as an html (complete web) file.

If you want to copy all comments on a post and the post runs to over one page you need to do this for each page okay and because the pages will all save with the post title you have to put 1, 2, 3 etc after the name before saving.

1. Create a folder on your hard drive where you want to save the posts.

2. Open a post and right click anywhere on the page....from the drop down box choose "save as"....the default should be "complete web page"....choose that.....make sure you are saving it where you want to and click save.

3. It will take about 30 seconds to save a page then you can move on to the next one.

When you want to open the files at any time in the future....simple....they will open in your browser even if the site has gone poof.

I find this much faster than copy and paste.

I write my posts on Word so I have most of them already saved off the site.

Maybe it was better to pass it to a folder on your computer, right?
It will take time but if you think it's worth that '' time '' is nothing.
I hope I was helpfull. With my opinion.
