70% of those infected with genital herpes got it while their partner had no visible signs of an outbreak.

Okay, damn shit happens. Maybe you made a foolish mistake and didn't use protection. Maybe you thought you were in a monogamous relationship and your partner thought otherwise. It doesn't really matter. I want to discuss the morons that had sex with someone with visible signs of genital herpes.

Using conservative numbers from the CDC, 20% of Americans have been infected with herpes (HSV-1 or HSV-2). That's approximately 45 million adolescents and adults. 30% of those adolescents and adults, approximately 13.5 million, had sex with someone with visible signs of genital herpes. What the hell were they thinking? You know what's really scary, we allow these people to participate in our government. They can't make good sense decisions for themselves but we allow them to take part in choosing our leaders and establishing government policies. I'm sorry, I'm just ranting now but it is MY BLOG. *lol*
