On top of the the profile name fits in with the current batch of bot created fakes. BUT.... that still hasnt stopped some guy from inviting her as a friend. Hmmmmm |

Oh sorry, maybe i was too quick. The next profile i look at is milena_conklin3 Location: Bracknell HeLLo there.... Im a regular girl just looking for her options, I enjoy a lot of things, including going to the beach..... Anyone come across Bracknell beach???? Race: Asian Picture is of a white girl! Again the profile name fits in with the current batch of bot created fakes.

Do you ever find any profiles that you think are genuine?!  Yes, but finding them is like looking for a needle in a haystack.It wasnt always this way. Have been here for 5 years and sure there have always been fakes and scammers around, but the number of fakes created every day has reached rediculous levels. Especially those that look like they've been created by a computer program or bot - such as these asian profiles which white girl photos!

Yes it is getting out of hand and I am also a long standing member. I particularly enjoy the "looking for soulmate" comment... really... how likely is that on a site like this Most of us are here fore what ever reason but I bet it isn't to find a soul mate!

Well... I guess it kind of says something about a man's psyche if that's the case. I'm pretty certain if it was women having to deal with that kind of a thing they'd all just leave. If men actually did that the whole site would collapse... I guess there are sufficient men who ignore all the obvious signs and click on links these 'women' suggest, or give them their card details or whatever, in the hope that they might, just MIGHT, turn out to be real. I can't see it being a problem that will go away because if it wasn't worth their while the scammers would just move on.

There is also the issue of the fake profiles that are posted by A F F itself, which are not a danger like the scam profile, but are intended to make the site look more attractive to guys and get them to become paying members. We can and do ignore the issue a lot of the time but chat about it here like we do any topic.... plus it can be a laugh as you can see in some of GSFs other posts as some of the fakes are so ridiculous it is laughable and a lot of other humour comes out of the issue generally. Personally I have had a lot of fun off this site over the years and don't intend to leave over it but it doesn't stop me wanting to comment and help to raise awareness. I suppose it's a bit like the "wanna fuck" approaches and strops over rejection you must get.... you ignore it for the most part but it is irritating and yet funny at the same time.

Scotty once you get used to quickly spotting the fake/scam profiles and focus your time on the genuine members if you are polite, witty and interesting there's still fun to be had, a lot of us have had plenty of fun from here.... just use your loaf and common sense and keep your wits about you mate.
