Silence - A poem When I was born, Silence greeted my ears, not able to hear my cries, nor my mother's sighs of joy, As time goes by ..... All my friends hear, not by a hands wave, but by the spoken word, a thing that I have never heard, that makes up their lives, As time goes by .... Silence ..... hides in the beat of the music, The loneness never goes, yet no one really knows, what solace I truly seek, As time goes by .... I Loved the poem and I am glad that you shared it with. Wishing you great sucess in your surgery. I am real glad that we started talking. I am sorry that your wife passed away, I know that feeling real well my husband passed away in Febuary. Your poem really touched my heart and i will keep you in my prayers.

Having met Hershey I can say that he is a man who hears with his heart and is a deceent person. I wish him the best success with his surgery and hope he is able to do what so many of us take for granted--hear things like a dog barking. There are not many people like Hershey in this world anymore. Good heart good soul good sense of humor and just a good person. I am honored to have met him.
