heres an interesting news story headline . . .

from wsb-tv atlanta -

"Security detail stepped up outside NRA president's home following mass shootings"

now if, as i understand it ( ! ? ), the nra suggests

that everyone should have a gun for protection,

shouldnt the PRESIDENT of the nra have enough f______ guns already?

without tax-payer cobb county sheriffs having to provide security?

(sorry i cant upload the pic of the cobb county sheriffs car on scene from the article,

but im sure you can google the article for yourselves).

    Quoting PonyGirl1965:
I bet he has plenty of guns. And a need for sleep too.

The chaos is not his fault. I don't support the NRA. However I don't consider them to be responsible either. Mass shootings are not any 1 person or groups fault.

People need to raise their kids better. Be better people themselves.
Moral people do not commit mass murders.
you made good points with your statements.

thanx for your input.

im still thinking that it would be harder for those "over-the-edge"

to get a hold of guns

if there werent so many guns everywhere . . .

WOW protecting the President of the NRA what's next. The Potus is responsible for all the hateful rhetoric and he needs to stop. They really need to step up more restricted gun laws, and extensive back round checks.

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

again, the broken-record response that anyone with a different point-of-view

is biased. why not add the "fake news" tag-line as well?

1) what causes people to act out violently?

unfortunately, there are a thousand answers.

but in the case of el paso,

how bout a president having launched thousands of tweets

about the need to close the mexican border because mexicans are

vicious violent gang members, drug-dealers and r____ts?

and 2) what could enable someone not-yet diagnosed as "on the edge"

thinking he was acting patriotically killing perceived mexicans

"overrunning" his town on their way to "overrunning" the entire country?

being able to get his hands on guns. and not just "guns" but assault rifles.

somethings tragically wrong there and its NOT the "fake news".

thanx for your interesting and respectful response.

we have friends in college station, so were almost kind of neighbors.

yes the british wanted us to lay down our weapons, BUT

once we won our freedom from britain and

killed off "enough" of the native americans who were here before us,

THATS when we should have laid down our guns as a society.

okay, except for hunting for food and protection from wildlife,

but NOT killing for sport, just for need.

as far as "kiss'n the queens ass", as you imaginatively put it,

that would be better than living in fear that the mall youre shopping in

or the concert youre attending could be "ground-zero" to

the next assault-rifle mass attack at any moment without warning,

wouldnt you agree?

so what interesting about that-? I don't google because they are bias- but I already read the article- guns are not the problem- neither in Trump- mental illness is rated very lo as a cause also- I wish people would actually do some research about causes that make people act out violently -

to further quote the article -

Law enforcement officials confirmed to Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Chris Jose that the group’s head of security called the Sheriff’s Office in response to the mass shootings over the weekend.

Jose stopped by Carolyn Meadows’ east Cobb County home Wednesday and saw a Cobb County patrol car parked in front of it.

Cobb County Republican Party Chairman Jason Shepherd told Jose that he immediately contacted Meadows after he learned about potential threats in the wake of the mass shootings.
