a different perspective on trumps rants and tantrums

we know the endless tirade of insults he spews at anyone and everyone
(maybe thats what draws his followers - pent hate THEY cant release?).

a coworker once told -
and trump and his followers need heed this -

if you think someones an asshole, they might very well be.

BUT

if you think EVERYONES an asshole - ITS YOU !

"well only get through this if we work together. if we dont, none of us will"

Here's a couple of Trump jokes I thought of.

A scientist who studies the brain has found that prolonged exposure to listening to Donald Trump's rants and ravings causes the death of brain cells. I guess that's as good an excuse as any for Trump supporters!

A scientist who studies the brain conducted a study comparing the functioning of the brain of Trump supporters and non Trump supporters. He found Trump supporters to have far less brain function when it comes to logic and reasoning.

Nothing that trump stands for or represents is good. Nothing.

He is but a puppet though......and that is the real worry......in which direction are we allowing ourselves to be led?

totally agreed.

except maybe for the optimistic assumption that we COULD survive
another four more years under trump.

thanx for the great discussion.
lets hope weve inspired others to be as rational and cooperative
continuing the discussion

thanx again for you input, good observations.
interesting and friendly? yes, fer sure

the term "political party" never once appeared in the constitution -
the law wasnt supposed to work that way. and yet,
it was in the aftermath of the the constitution that they arose -
the federalists and the antifederalists.

back then the argument was about who had the ultimate right to govern, the individual states or the federal government. but it was NEVER about
overthrowing ALL forms of government.

74 years later, we fought an all-out formal war over our differences.

now, another 155 years later, weve taken our pursuits of "individual rights" to the point that we are fighting an all-out ingrained guerrilla war against our fellow americans.

now, theres nothing wrong with individual rights, its what our founding fathers risked their livelihoods and even their lives for.
but they were fighting the BRITISH.

but they could never have envisioned americans fighting other americans, either in the civil war nor in todays UN-civil war.

if they had had that vision, which would have been appalling to them,
they would have drafted a BILL OF DUTIES to go alongside the bill of rights.

people are too hot-button single-issue focused on their one or two pet peeves to try to find any middle-ground.
there are americans who would vote for son-of-sam
if he agreed with their view on their hot-topic issue, whether it be
- guns,
- abortion,
- prayer in school,
- health care,
- cats vs dogs, or god knows what else what,

and persecute, threaten and even take up arms against those who disagree.
the founders must be rolling in their graves,
ashamed of what so many americans have become.

i love america, but im also ashamed of many so-called americans,
and their hate-spewing party-before-anything politics.

looking forward to more discussion.
thanx for reading and contributing

thanx again for your input

actually, im independent,
which means my vote for "none of the above",
like yours, counts for nothing.
the ONLY thing the reps and dems agree on
is to make sure a viable third party never arises.

when you check off on your tax return to
contribute a couple dollars toward the presidential campaigns,
does anyone REALLY think ANY third party candidate
sees dollar-one of that until AFTER the election
when they can prove they got some votes?

BUT being independent DOES NOT MEAN
that you HAVE TO find equal fault or equal good
in "BOTH" sides without being biased.
thats just totally unrealistic,
and a crutch for the "dirtier" side to lean on
and white-wash the real facts.

people who are "tired" of those pointing out
trumps lies and distortions of process of law
are ACCEPTING those affronts,
and should be waving their flags AGAINST them, NOT FOR them.

at this point, it almost seems to be trumps STRATEGY
to continue to be as offensive as possible
just so his minions can dismiss the mounting criticism
as "unending hate".
many prominent republicans have also gone public
with doubts about trumps actions,
so it isnt only "democrap trump-haters" speaking up.

and none of it is made up,
like trumps china conspiracy and undefined "obamagate" claims are.

i cant debate your views on clinton.
and maybe biden isnt exactly "mr smith goes to washington",
but at least hes not a cross between
don rickles, archie bunker and napolean.

this year, for the first time,
i may have to side with the dems
to flush out the white-wash-house.

lets first restore democracy this year, then in 2024 we can look toward
helping a third party becoming at least heard in washington.

keep the discussion coming . . . thanx

Lol the media is not biased except for the Fox. I
All the real news stations do is keep proving to us with videos that Trump is an asshole. They don't fake the videos. We can actually see his lips and hands moving and clearly hear what he's saying. How is that being biased?

Thank goodness everytime he opens his mouth he puts himself further away from being reelected. He is incapable of running the country. He can't even pretend that he cares about anything except his public image and getting reelected. That is not going to happen.

He is my favorite choice of entertainment. I I watch the news everyday and laugh every time he opens his mouth. It never fails to show he is not worthy of the job of POTUS.

again, a good point,

BUT it can be a misleading underhanded tool for one side
to portray "both" sides in any conflict
as both equally right and equally wrong.

thats like the dirtier hockey team complaining if the refs call
more penalties on them. get it?

i look forward to discussing . . .

thanx for your input, well thought-out and well-stated.

however i emphatically must disagree
with the first statement you made - referring to
"trump and those that hate him and those that don't."

thats validating trumpers, hopefully unintentionally,
and their petulant "strategy" of categorically labeling anyone
finding issue with the things trump has done wrong
as being a "hater".
THATS whats actually being hateful.

if his supporters stop hiding behind that childish crutch
and actually think for themselves
instead of mindlessly aggressively dismissing facts
by throwing endless insults at them,
many of them would finally see just how criminally insane
so much of what hes done is.

maybe hes accidentally hit one or two notes right,
but even hitler was once time magazines man of the year
for bringing germany out of post-WWI depression.
didnt mean he wasnt a criminal . . .

i look forward to discussing further . . .
