 I too keep a "cheat sheet" with the current and most recent past userids and passwords. Thus it annoys the shit out of me when I must use the "forgot password" link when IN REALITY (I later figure out) I didn't forget it AT ALL - they changed their password parameters!

That phone deal is a classic! Glad you got it figured out.
