It Can't Get Any Better than This

I discovered a few weeks ago that one of my FAVORITE BANDS is touring and coming to a city near me a week after my birthday next year. Rock legends Fleetwood Mac have confirmed they will be adding at least 28 more dates to their already scheduled 40-city ON WITH THE SHOW tour, including a stop at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita on March 31.



Tickets went on sale yesterday. Obviously the concert is expected to sell out. So, I kinda dropped a pretty big hint to my amour that I'd really like to go. And he kinda got the message! Yesterday after work I checked my phone and nearly shit myself when I saw he had sent me photos of our tickets to the concert!

I am going to have to think of something pretty amazing to reciprocate. Any Ideas?

You are funny. The tickets for Mac are PRICEY and expected to sell out so that is why Intrust was the selected venue.

 I'm so glad they rejoined with Christie... I mean her husband is the freaking bass player!

What a soap opera THEY have been through with that band -- swapping wives and such.

Didja know that Lindsey Buckingham NEVER took a guitar lesson? He is self-taught, and stylistically one of my all-time favorite performers.

In a previous life, I worked closely with Mick Fleetwood, the drummer, as well as Stevie Nicks - solving some of their on-stage sound problems with goofy little devices I helped invent. Good folks, great show. Have fun!

 THey were just here in Indy the other night. Put on a hell of a show. Christie was back with them and they sounded like the Mac of old -tm
