So right away, the news is out,
closed bases will be used.
Government land will be replanned
to fuel the oilman's muse.

Now conservation can be shelved
for yet three decades more.
The first because we now can wait,
for the promised couple more.

The skies turn dark, as China grows
and India whets its thirst
It's not about if there's enough,
it's who'll imbed there first.

And still the process propogates
more poison than it should.
If it weren't so gawldurned profitable
we'd weigh the bad and good.

But we aren't gonna change our ways
so Arabs call the tune.
One statement from a sand dune sultan
and "we" promise him the moon.

Since taxed we are, do we, as U.S.
get a discount on the gas,
that gets refined on government land,
or do we take it in the ass?

It took a couple hours
but as sure as hairy hands
the powers that be have jerked it off
and this post has now been banned
