TRAUMA
Have you known it?
I know you have...
We have had collective trauma
11/22/63
9/11/01
and a half dozen in between depending on who you are....
Then
there are the personal traumas
death and suicide
and how it comes..
Maybe they tried
to make it about you?

and then
there is the third kind
the one
you willingly take on...

I am ready
for a night long endurance
of my own choice
and a storm...

I crave it

for it is in this potential trauma
that I have romanced past...
shot hoops in
till I feared the lightening
and respected
as I retreated
humbled
and never forgot

Few know
what I am saying here
few should...

but occasionally
if we create
a stage for trauma within ourselves
we are more apt
to acknowledge it
when THEY
do it to us...

and besides
I just need to know
that it really
IS
my mind...

doors

 unfortunately, our mind can play tricks on us...and our mind is filled with our own perceptions...some from past experience...some from disgarded propaganda...some times another perception of someone I trust might be needed to enlighten me...as usually you wow me with your writing and your thoughts...love ya!
