losing enthusiasm..

It has been 9 years since I stumbled onto this site. My reasons for hanging around changed as time went on.

One constant that keeps me here is that my marriage is no better. No sex (5 years now), little communication (unless you count household tips and criticism), and very little affection. Sobriety does not fix everything..

I don't think that I can/will find what I need here. So many want to skip the flirting and getting to know you phase. Many want to believe that mutual attraction is not important (hey, I get a vote too).

I miss the group of friends from chat that I could talk and joke with. Even virtual friends can help you feel less alone. Until the lies and BS pile up higher than the sincere friendship attempts..

I doubt I will be around much longer

I, for one, would miss you greatly! I love seeing you in chat and reading your words here...but I understand and wish you happiness in whatever path you choose. Although you can just keep your account and not log in...so you could come back and visit still!

 Squeam Darling.. I have been away from the site for some time now, trying to work on my own marriage.. Formerly Fishing for you i the lower midwest room. You always brightened my day when you came into the room. If you have gone away, it is a sad time for Local Adult Companion. You are always missed when you are not here.

 I have admired you for years. I understand your situation. I wish things were different so you could move on, start fresh. The story book romance does exist. It is not always bright sunshine and perfect, but it does exist.
