I AM SORRY THAT I HAVE BILLS TO PAY. I AM SORRY THAT I DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE TIME TO SPEND ON MYSELF LET ALONE ANYONE ELSE. These words are from my heart. It seems that in my life I always seem to be in the wrong. I am always the one to blame. I don't understand, and for that I do apologize. I have been hurt quite a bit in my life. Do I use that as an excuse? I try not to but sometimes without thinking those barricades come up to protect myself from being hurt. I know that my life is chaotic, but that is my life. Do I want a relationship with a man? Yes! Have I found a man that I would want a relationship with? Yes! And for some reason I am not with any of those men. Each for their own reasons. But for the most part because I can not be as open as they want me to be, as quickly as they want. I hold back, I run, I cry. So yes I guess every relationship that I have had ended because I did something wrong. So as you tell me how much wrong I have done to you, to our relationship, to my life......what you don't see is the part of me that you have crushed. You don't see the nights where I lay awake all night long crying. You aren't the one who is there to hold me. I make no promises to you other than to try my hardest to make a relationship work. And I do. But that is never enough. So for that I am sorry. But the fact of the matter is I am me. I may not make you happy. But somewhere out there is a man who will take his time, hold me, and let me take those baby steps. Because each day that those baby steps continue I will learn to walk with my head held high. I will learn to run free. And I will make my man the happiest man ever. Because all I need is love.  |
