my advice is to also ring to cancel, turning auto renew is yet another thing on Local Adult Companion that doesn't always work. i know, i tried it a couple of years ago when Local Adult Companion messed me about big time.

Iam not able control showned the problems biger.Iam still waiting tech get back to me on all my problems with set.How long must wait??For company that need help.They lack balls to run.A good deal.But his techs are jailable.For what have not done on fall up???????????

Okay, I am not noticing any changes to the "downloadable IM" and cam set up. But I for one am HAPPY that it is all going to a public type chat. There are so many SICK comments made and requests.. I know you guys want privacy for that. But some is just BEYOND sick and I think it may be cut down if you know everyone is going to see it. I personally LIKE the idea of having my cam on and NOT having to have the IMC with it. I do not like those disgusting comments and insults that get thrown out because I refuse to do as they 'command' as some DO think we are here for them alone. Thank goodness not everyone is that bad, but it is awful at times.

Thanks for giving us members a chance to express our reaction to the new webcam. As other postings have already made clear, it is NOT an improvement. It destroys what was a good feature of this website. Here are the things I feel are bad changes: 1) If I want to chat publicly, I will go to a chatroom. 2) I want to see who else is online and who is camming, but you took away that list. 3) There is no way to page someone to have a private conversation. 4) There doesn't seem to be any way for someone to page me personally. 5) We no longer seem to have a choice as to whether or not we are broadcasting sound along with our cam. My experience has been that only about 25% of cammers broadcast with sound, and I'm not one of them. 6) The cam window cannot be resized to display a larger or smaller image of what I'm seeing. Aside from being very unhappy about the loss of valued features, I also have to say I am shocked that you would deploy a new version of the webcam tool when it still has obvious bugs. Most notably, if I wanted to read the chat going on for some webcam I'm watching, the textbox allowing me to participate in that chat is positioned smack in the middle of the chat window, blocking much of what others are writing. Second, if I want to open the profile of someone who is watching my cam, all I get is a dead, blank window. Do you have any quality assurance people on your staff? Perhaps they were all on vacation this whole summer? Other postings have said this change will drive them away from Local Adult Companion. Count me among their ranks!

sorry to rant even more but this is beyond a joke. in fact, i think this must be a joke, that or i'm dreaming and all will be fixed soon. i have been viewed by a woman living about 6000 miles from me [ i know the person so i know it's genuine and yes, i did get the cam to work for about 3 minutes!!] and yet i get in my 'viewing' list a male 0 miles from me!!! for christs sake, thats just useless. it gets worse. restart cam [ it died yet again], click on profile of another viewer and get unable to find page. ok, that may happen now and then but it just adds to this system being riddled with bugs. best i go to bed now, i'm just getting so annoyed with paying so much money for a long time to get this sort of service. it wouldn't happen if this wasn't a 'sexsite'. does Local Adult Companion think people are too embarrassed to complain. if so, think again, i'm not.

So far I Have had issues with the system NO BETTER than the old system!!! >1~3-in groups**1~5-on ALL cams 1}'streaming' freeze then fast forward to catch up. 2}freezing completely then jump back to real time.Between a couple seconds to 30seconds. 3}audio breaking up 4}NAG BOXES covering the cam picture,continue to return after clicking the X 5}Slowwwwwww load times! Definitely NOT a reason to UPGRADE MEMBERSHIP!Should be 'free' until the bugs are gone! This was TESTED offline for How long here and on getiton for months before this release and it is this bad,,, Local Adult Companion Parody Of a Real Sex Site

This site was better the other way at this point I really don't even want to come back on as it is so BADDDDDDDDDDDDD! Please go back to the old way it was so much better , whoever thought of this must of been drunk and on drugs...it SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSS!

It sucks. Go back to the old version. Normally i have to choose between 2 cams, now he's choosing the cam that doesn't work, so i can't broadcast anymore, my screen is always black on the other site.

The new format is absolutely unwieldy and impossible to track who you're chatting with or who's viewing your cam. I like to chat with multiple people in SEPARATE sessions, so not everyone sees all the conversations (you do still want to keep some things private between two individuals). Please go back to the old system or make changes to the new one to return some of the old features.

One more thing - it's not possible to change from Public to Private or Private to Public chat once you have it open. I do like to change my broadcasting to Private sometimes to stop new people for a temporary period. Please bring that back too!

What a joke. I have a new Logitech 9000 and the video "was" crystal clear with the old cam software. Now the focus doesn't work properly with the new software and it looks like crap. One friend paged me and we were discussing the changes when a member I don't know paged in and had full access to what we thought was a private conversation. I was given no option to accept or decline he was just part of the conversation. On top of that after a prolonged chat of maybe ten minutes the window stopped scrolling properly. It was only showing the handle of the next entry to read it you had to send another message. To chat with other members I now have to have the web cam software running and the IMC software without the option to have my microphone turned off. I usually don't have the sound on unless I'm having a private chat partly because I tend to think out-loud. So now I have to deactivate the mic. so I don't accidentally offend people. What a bunch of crap. Plus the "Chat" tab is toward the bottom of the screen. Unless you have the web cam software on top, instead of say partially covered by a chat room window, you get no notification of being paged. From what I was told, on some browsers the profile "Introduction Title" is no longer visible and now I get even more unwanted pages and IMs. To add INSULT to injury now I'm plagued with more "Upgrade" notifications when I want to video chat with another member. I would never give you people a dime for this place. I've been an active member here for many years and it's always one SNAFU after another. You wonder why your active membership is declining. I could give you a list of reasons. Congratulations you've managed to add a whole other page in one day. Cancer6962    I  eat'n

I was wondering how without private chat you can have intimate Cam to Cam sessions like before? Plus, I am a standard member so I can't even chat anymore...that's not right.
