Mistakes

Ever make a decision that effects you for the rest of your life that you wish you could take back or change somehow?
I'm thinking maybe this guy did.

Thats STUPID!!

I made a decission that was "smart"....lol that affected me for a LONG time. I bought 10,000 shares on margin of Dendreon on May 5, 2004 to hold day and sell that afternoon. I put in a sales price and it missed by a nickle. The next day it dropped 70% on a FDA announcement. What would have become a 3-5K gain became a 120K loss.

Stupid = $10K tattoo removal
Smart = $120K loss

Humbled once again!

Wow. I dunno whether to be appalled or amused!

Not every decision I made was a good one, but I try to view them as a learning experience. Nothing that I totally regret or anything!

Lol @ hardworkin2008, not that he lost money, but just in his last comment re smart=$120k loss. Ah, such is life.

I regret selling part of my record collection a few years back and look at what price those items fetch now. Not exactly life changing, but there you go.

Look at how many of you are laughing. Was it really a bad decision then? It takes a lot of guts to be the punchline. In a weird sorta way I admire the guy. He had the guts to say "fuck it, this makes me laugh". I just wish more of us took ourselves a little less seriously.

As for my own bad decisions that I wish I could take back, I'm starting one hell of a collection, but I'll go with the easiest. "I do". And divorce doesn't take anything back.

Unfortunately yes, simply pulling down my T-shirt wouldn’t cover some of mine.

H.

Ugh! I'm guessing you learned from your mistake though.

Oooh, yeah, my step-aunt sold her son's baseball cards and they would've been worth a lot. Live and learn.

Good one. The road not taken and all of that. No time for regrets though, just pondering.
