What it is
When you asked me if you ever cross my mind,
The answer is, Only all the time,
I think of you when I wake,
And every time I start to break,
I remember every single smile,
Even when it's been awhile,
Every beat of my heart,
Times the moments we've spent apart,
And every time when I'm at rest,
My mind wanders to the best,
Moments we've spent lying heart to heart,
I tried to stop it but I felt it start,
It grew more each and every day,
Until I wished you'd just stay,
Maybe you'll leave and I'll be alone,
I only know when I'm with you it feels like home,
I want to make myself the very best,
So I could pass each and every test,
I don't know how you do what you do,
I only know that I'm so in love with you,
It scares me down to my core,
It keeps me looking at that door,
I've never been so afraid as I am today,
Wondering when it is that I will pay,
For the happiness you've given to me,
Because I know nothing in life is for free,
What's the price for loving you far too much,
Please don't ever take away your touch,
Hold me close and take away my fears,
If I cry wipe away my tears,
I wish every day for the strength to go on,
