How lucky I am
I saw a woman that I had Lamaze classes with during my first pregnancy. Her was with her and he had a tube in his throat. There is a nurse I work with, her has uncontrolled epilepsy and needs hearing aides. They're doing a fund raiser to help get him a therapy dog. A girl I grew up with has a 2 year old that is almost completely deaf and is mildly retarded. I could go on...it all makes me realize just how lucky I am when I see something like that.
Even though I don't always have it easy, and stuff goes wrong, some people have it so much worse than I do. It makes me appreciate the little things.

From everything I have read, and every comment he has left, this is a very nice man, going through a very difficult time. Keep him and his family in your prayers if you do that sort of thing, kind and warmest of thoughts if you don't.
