Blocking!!

Yes I know this is an ongoing issue..and can be seen to some as necessary or used to the block and bully. I have brought this up to the sight, but will put it out here to see what kind of reaction I get. If you block a profile, they may not know for months or even years..If you are blocked from viewing a particular profile.
You should be informed by the sight when blocked by a certain menber
It should be automatic....They block you..You block them.
Just leave it and let the bastards keep vewing your profile and you can't do a thing about it..
Do you think the message should be differenent if member has blocked you or member deleted..yes it is still the same member not

Have a great horny day LUV

I tend to agree that a person that is blocked should be notified. Except that on here that person can create multiple profiles and come at you from multiple names.
I think that some people would take it as a challenge to make our lives miserable.

I just noticed that I have something like 22 blocked people. I don't mind people disagreeing with me, arguing with me. But when someone responds with what can best be described as 'snarky' , then that 'snarky' is intended to be demeaning... to me personally. And the 'snarky' tends to reflect an immaturity on the part of the person--in other words 'snarky' was uncalled for... It the end, it's the sense that someone is attempting to demean me personally that wants me to block the person.. And I don't feel a need to apologize..for blocking... But it was a good question...

If its really about "If you block a profile, they may not know for months or even years" - -
Why was it necessary to block them in the first place?

Just for viewing your profile? Just because you are not interested in that member (for whatever reason... poor msg, incoherent blog comment, uninteresting profile, etc.) ?

..If its more personal then handles can be changed but other members have been known to return with alternate handles also -- which negates the entire effort.

Posting personal content on-line must come with the expectation that anyone and everyone will have access to the information one way or another.

I'm a big fan of transparent moderation. any time you have been blocked, or had a message deleted, or your profile frozen you should be informed of what happened, why it happened, and what your accounts status will be in the future. So should the other person involved.

Personally, I think a person should get a message when they have been blocked. However, I could care less if someone I have blocked keeps viewing my profile. As long as they can't contact me, I'm satisfied.
