Well I had a company party in which I brought a friend with me. One of my co workers who is married, got very jealous that I brought my friend with me. She wanted to know if we were a couple of not and how I know my friend. That is where I thought it was taboo for a platonic friendship to happen.

Friends can be non sexual or sexual. Non Sexual friends like you say doco, the sex card is there eventually. With this jealous co-worker she tried to tell me something about my friend yesterday. She was quite shock when I told her that he told me the day before. I will say she is not happy in her marriage that is why she is jealous and besides she is a major drunk.

I have several female friends. Being "just friends" doesn't mean I don't find them attractive and think (dream?) about what it would be like to have sex with them, I just don't try to follow through. I've had some nice right-hand fantasies thinking about my female friends. Remember the movie "When Harry Met Sally"?

From my experience in life, Platonic can work as long as there is no lust for the other person inside of either friend. Even the slightest can ruin the friendship unless that spark is taken care of or extinguished. Friends is always possible but most guys are always curious on what it would be like to be with almost every woman they ever meet at some point in their lives. Or maybe that is just me? LoL

I think they absolutely can. I've met a lot of great ladies before through work or sports who are fun to hang out with and great to work with - but we'd never take things past a friendship.

i have a female colleague who is my close friend for almost 16 years. we never thought anything other than friendship, except occasionally i would peek into her dress when she doesnt notice and try to be close with her during social gatherings. we have families to tend to and she is a good friend of my wife too. occasionally we would hold hands during some emotional moments but nothing more than that. one year back, suddenly, i do not know what happened, we started talking on fone even after we reached home on daily basis. she used to call me late at nights and sometimes we used to talk right through the night. next day we would rush to office to be with each other. one evening after office, iwalked with her to some distance where her bus would come. she told me that she would like to be with me for some more time and so she left the bus and we waited for the next bus. she did not take it too. this continued till it was almost 8pm. all the time we were talking just non sense, which we both never even heard. i was aroused slightly as i did not expect such a behaviour from her. i asked her if i could take her in my car to her home since it was getting late. she looked at me quizzically for a second and said yes. i brought my car and we started driving. wantedly i drove slowly and took a circuitious route which was also lonely. suddenly she became quiet. i asked her what was wrong. she said nothing. i parked the car in a corner and looked at her. her head was down and she was crying. i was shocked. i reached up to her hand and asked her what was wrong. she replied amongst her tears that her friendship with me was dying. i could not comprehend. i asked her why she was saying that. she replied quietly that she wanted to be my lover and since a lover cannot be a friend she was crying. she told me she wanted to be my friend too. i held her tightly and we were carried over by emotions for the next 30 mts during which we made love, softly, tenderly and then finally roughly. when we both were thoroughly satisfied, i told her that she was now my friend. till today, this pattern continues. during day time we are good friends, not cooing into others ears, or doing non sensical things. but after 6 pm to 8pm and on holidays we become lovers who care for nothing in the world except our bodies and its satisfaction.

believe its very possible had a few good friends that were girls, but always seems that my girlfriend would always be jealous and say we were screwing around if i hung out at their house too long or even if i would be fixing something at their house i would be accused of screwing around so i find that to be the hardest part. even had a couple get pissed and say well she thinks were screwing so lets screw, but i didnt go there, gotta stay true to yourself
