That woman next door....a story of filth and fag ash Regular visitors to my blog will know about one of my next door neighbours who blights my life through a combination of excess waste, bad stenches, property neglect and cigarette smoke. The stench today incidentally is cheap cigarette smoke, damp fag ash, urine and something non-descript that one often smells in old folks homes. Some months ago she asked me to take one of her cats because she claimed the people at Russels Hall Hospital had told her that she was allergic to one of her cats. Total shit and I told her so at the time. I also took the opportunity to suggest she give up the weed in all its forms, do a bit of cleaning especially her bathroom and not try and feed me such a crock of crap. Well in spite of it all I took the cat and passed it onto my friends at the local branch of Cats Protection league who managed to find a new loving home. She's a lovely black and white short hair that never scratches so it only took a few months to do this. I might add that hundreds of worthless bastards abandon cats, dogs and other pets every month in Wolverhampton. They do it so they can go on holiday, buy some<b> illicit </font></b>drugs, buy a new car or whatever. Always lies. Always the animals that suffer. In effect the generous donations from animal lovers are being swallowed up by problems caused by inconsiderate indurviduals, (Spelling intentional). Now today I looked out the window to see her playing with.......yes you guessed it, a new kitten. What do you think I should do or say next? Obviously animal welfare is foremost in my mind and the kitten is being well cared for. But I just know that the next time that woman wants to spend her benefit on something like a holiday she will come a knocking with another cock-n-bull story. Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life. |

spunky11961 Thanks for your comment, always a pleasure. Hmmmm I did consider punishments. Now let me make it clear that the people who contact charities to dump pets are not quite as bad as the folk that drown unwanted pets or leave them in the forest. However I do think they need re-educating. When I saw the new kitten I considered going next door and giving her a well-needed piece of my mind. However she is an adult under the influence of children so I resorted to playing music I know she hates.......very very loud. Sadly this did not provoke a response of any kind, not even a complaint letter through the door. The aural assault did however, wake my other neighbour who is a night shift nurse. She did push a note through the door. Now I'm under instructions to keep the noise down until after 3pm today......so be it. I don't want to piss her off. I had wondered why her lovely daughter had been keeping the noise down on her stereo lately. Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.

Poor kitten! I'm sure once it goes past that adorable "teenage" stage they go through (you know the one...long and lanky, perpetually surprised and no traction on their pads yet) they'll find some lame excuse to send it off. Damn shame! I recently adopted a gorgeous tuxedo. He was 9 years old when I got him. I've had him a year and he's taken over the house! It's like he's been here forever! So I strongly recommend adopting the older cats. You DO need patience though. OK enough about that. tee hee

Fun,  I think you need to get in touch with Animal Welfare for the kittens sake.But then again this is just my opinion. cuteNEway Thanks for the comment. Yep I can testify to the pleasure in looking after older cats. I foster older cats for the local branch of a national cat charity. I get the sick, the lame, the bad-tempered and terrified semi-ferrals. Some stay with me for the rest of their life and die of old age, others eventually find new loving homes. Kittens are great too, but most people don't appreciate that a cat can live up to 30 years. imLadyBambi Thanks for your comment too. As I'm a member of the local animal welfare group for cats consider them notified. One of my more tactful colleagues has agreed to have a word with my neighbour. I know if I speak to her I'll find it hard not to put her over my knee for a jolly good spanking......Most me who meet her get that urge. Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.
