The English language is evolving... and not in a good way. Between slang, ebonics, overuse of catch phrases and plain old illiteracy, it's a damned wonder we can understand anyone these days.

I hate being in love because fate and circumstance usually turn the latter into the former. And I hate when that happens.

those are two words that should always be used wisely ,some people don't know the meaning of the word love ,for when one finds it it is the most wonderful thing .also nice to see you back soaking .

Kind of shows you're in-between ages, as am I!  When those little kids who used the term love alllll the time grow old, they'll turn into haters!  Greater Than The Sum Of My Constituent Parts!

Good and thoughtful post Obviously our language has been devalued by popular and social media. How overplayed were the words awesome and cool for example? I even created my own unique word to describe something especially yummy - gordelius which evolves from gorgeous and delicous. I only use this word on those rare occassions when those parameters have been met. There is a consequence to our words and we should watch how we sow them.
