For me its similar, I may have good sex that first time together, but I have tried so hard to impress that I really felt like it was just OK overall. Its hard to know how hard she likes it, or whether she only wants it slow, and that whole mental thing for me can ruin it if she gives the wrong feedback. Or if she can't keep her teeth out of the way while she sucks me, that one is a real downer and some don't take the critique well at all.
