My letter to you

Good evening, I hope this finds you with that secret smile on your face. Damn, I sure wish mine was there.

This is not the blog, that I wrote last night. The blog I wrote last night, disappeared and will have to be Rewritten again.

This is a totally unplanned seat of the pants blog.

This is the 2-year anniversary of my mother's death. I just realized it at about 7 o'clock tonight.

I knew today was coming up, I knew that Facebook would remind me of it. At 7 o'clock at the end of this crazy thing day, Facebook reminded me.

Maybe my day was crazy for that reason I don't know. But that's another blog.

For some reason this is on my mind, and I'm going to say it. This is my blog to you. Im writing it so i wont forget what i want to say to you when i see you tomorrow.

In a couple of weeks you will have major surgery. Unfortunately, although I want to be there, I cannot be. She, well be there.

You want to take me for lunch tomorrow. I cooked for you tonight. I love to cook for you. So, instead of you taking me out for lunch, I would rather you come to my hotel room and eat what I cooked for you.

And then I want you to love me as best as you can. It may be the last time.

You see, you don't have to take me to lunch, you dont have to buy me everything. I so enjoy spending time with you. And loving you. Oh, and those slow dances

That is as simple as it gets. So tomorrow I hope you do come eat lunch at my hotel room because it may be the last time we get to see each other before your surgery.

Always, always know that I will love you with all my heart, no matter what, with no regrets.

there are some things we can change in life, and some things we cannot. I cannot change your life. What saddens me though, is that one day I will move in with somebody, and it won't be you.

So, on the second anniversary of my mother's death, tell somebody that you love them or care about them. Things happen in the blink of an eye.

Update: you did come by the hotel. What did we do. We talked and laughed, Something we tend to do. Then we did what we do best. And now you are home. Until next time.
