39 years ago my favorite band were flying to Baton Rouge to perform. Sadly, their plane went down in a swamp in Mississippi.......Although they started touring again in 1987, the heart and soul of the band was no longer there. Without Ronnie, it just isn't the same band. Now, Gary is the only one left..... Luckily, the awesome songs they created, live on........ RIP Ronnie, Steve, Cassie, Allen, Leon and Billy............

Yes, it was..... They had finally made it, and Street Survivors was said to be the best album they'd released. Who knows how much better they would've got, how much further they would've gone. Ronnie was the heart and soul of the band. Don't get me wrong, Gary, Allen and the others gave their all, but without Ronnie, they just weren't the same. Now, they're all gone except for Gary and Artimus…..

Thankfully, their music lives on, and the younger generation who can't stand the garbage that's popular today, love what we listened to live 45 years ago....
