I will admit to Trump outrage burnout. It is hard to get up after so many disasters.

But the separations was a new low for evil cruelty. There is no requirement to take parents with minors into custody. There is no need to charge aliens who are just pleading to time served. There is no need to detain asylum seekers in custody for months.

The expense is not trivial and the trauma to who may stay in the US indefinitely if asylum is granted is not trivial either.

Trump bowed to public outrage and reversed course Wednesday. Now the get to be detained with the parents! But the Flores class action settlement allows only 20 day detention of , with or without parents.

The solution of course is for the Democrats to take the House of Reps in Nov. 2018. Vote!

There is no clear indication the 2,300 separated will be returned to their parents anytime soon... The GOP can run on a new slogan: Vote GOP or the next caged may be your own....
