i get angry over the dumbest things...

so one of my biggest pet peeves is people who leave shopping carts in open parking spaces or "between" parking spaces... this annoys the crap out of me. when it comes to my car i'm a scratch-aphobic. so thanks to 'everyone' else I am always getting out of my car to move 2 or 3 carts out of the way so that I can then pull into the spot worry free. needless to say I always take my cart to the return bin, even in the rain.

so lately I've been going to a local supermarket, as opposed to wallyworld (as we call it down here). since it is a smaller chain they cant compete with the bigger chains on prices, they make up for it in other ways.... customer service. one of the services they perform for customers is to accompany you to your car help you load up and then take the cart back inside for you.... its win/win all around you get help with your groceries, you don't have to worry about carts in the parking lost and they have delivered excellent customer service that gets you to come back again...

... so how screwed up in the head am I that I hate it when they try to do this for me??? I'm one of the good ones, I take my cart back all on my own thank you! while for other people I see this as great customer service, when they try and do this for me I see it as condescending... as if they don't trust me to bring back the shopping cart on my own. and its not like I need help with my groceries... i'm a bachelor who never buys more than a weeks worth of food, and they don't single me out or anything.... they do this for everyone!

you know if someone wanted to commit me I probably wouldn't fight it too much

You're not alone, I get annoyed over the dumbest things as well. Mostly what bothers me is the lack of consideration that ppl have for one another. For example...When going into an elevator why stop in the middle of the entrance, its a damn elevator its only going up or down. Yet they stand in the door figuring out if its going their way. Another one, on the bus, why does a person have to say excuse me If we are to get on the bus and keep it moving to the rear to let the other ppl get on. Is it that hard? In the train, ppl waiting to board stand right in front of the doors blocking the ppl that are trying to get off. Drivers, why cut someone off and get in front of them to than drive like they're coming to a stop. Why do ppl with a cart packed to the top get on the 7 and under lane and put their things on the counter to behave like they never saw the big sign. Omg and on the bus line those that behave like they don't see anyone standing on the lane and have their music in their headphones blasting and when confronted they act all apologetic. Oh and those church goers that park in other neighborhoods blocking the driveway until they return from mass.

don't get me started on church goers... living in the bible belt they think they can get away with anything. I had a conversation with a church group once, they wanted to use my companies parking lot on sundays.... and we're open on sundays and when I said no, the response I got was... but we're the church of (blank).

so?

I get irritated with little stupid shit too...it's just because our logic is different than others and we think or KNOW our way is the right way and HOW DUMB ARE THOSE OTHERS that don't follow our way of thinking....yeah I get it.

I just thought it was bizarre that this would frustrate me so... all that's going on is a company offering friendly customer service and making sure that 'lazy' customers don't leave shopping carts in parking spots and I guess I feel the need to prove that i'm not one of those people who leave the carts just lying around.
