Icebreaker for Gold... Yes or No
I used to be a silver member, which the site gave me for "contributions" (ie photos and cam sessions), but I have lapsed, and become a standard member. I can't decide... is whoring myself up to new members worth the free gold ball?

An icebreaker is a feature the site offers to female members and also couples, as long as they are looking for single males. If you agree to the icebreaker in exchange for a gold membership, an email from your account will be sent out to new single male members, welcoming them to the site. Some new members will not realize that this is an automated email, not a genuine email from you personally.

 Nothing is free ever in life on here. If you sign up for icebreakers they send out an email to your local area of friends that match your settings. So be prepared for lots of mail if you signed up. If your not meeting it isn't worth it!

 I voted "I really don't care" because I've never seen this icebreaker. I don't think I would care to have a mass email sent on our behalf, though. I do keep up our gold membership because I love looking at profiles and pictures.

Ain't that the truth.... free always comes with a price. I'd be ok with receiving email from my "local area of friends that match (my) settings".

Me too.... love, love, love perving the profiles and pics. Thus the temptation to do the icebreaker... I'm feeling too impecunious right now, but probably before the month is out I will break down and just pay up
