Spring
They say spring has arrived but I am not really feeling it. Everything is running behind as far as getting the crops in. A neighbor stopped by and said he checked the soil temp. He was getting 56 degrees at two inches down so it is time to plant corn, I am planning on doing that this coming Monday.
I did splurge and bought a portable hot tub, it sure helps soak the soreness out and limber the body up, I set it up in front of the barn, that gives me a great view of the sunrise. And overlooks the creek bottom. I am able to sit in it, watch deer, turkey, ECT. And being camo I figured it will work as a deer stand also. Ha ha now all I need is some company.

 Poor you Big - seems like the weather is not behaving anywhere?! Amazing that you measure the soil temp as well - but how warm are you having it now in the day? Hopefully high teens - fifteen % plus at least?! (Oops, and that is "C", guess it will be different in "F"?!)

Oh, and I do like your new "hot tub", is it like a spar - you know bubbles and that? And would it be big enough for two?! Very imp that!

The weather has warmed up we are having 28 C today. Corn takes 13.33 C to sprout, our ground temp is about 14 C. Finished planting corn yesterday. Yes it is supposed to be a 4 person hot tub, but 2 would just perfect
