why not So perhaps I do want to blog. I don't have a lot of interesting things in my life.... but why not just ramble. I like to ramble. I am frustrated. I have been single now for a while.... not weeks, but many many months. I think I was really single well before I was made aware that I was single. I was committed when I should not have been. That is me though. If I tell you I am going to be that, then I am. So I have been open to meeting people. I have even met a few folks. Nice people.... just has not been exactly right. I don't need every situation to be perfect, but I have limits, boundaries and things that will and will not work for me. Over the past few months I have talked to a few men that really made me feel excited and hopeful to meet them. However, my first priority is to my , and then my work. Those meetings never happened. I think there must be always someone more available, prettier, sexier... I don't know. Something more. I fall off the radar and become uninteresting. I don't have a set of rules that tells me exactly what I am looking for. I think that is variable dependent upon the situation. If it is a good FWB kinda thing... ok, that works. I am not looking to get married, or move in together. However if by some strange happening of the world the perfect match happened to come along, I am single and I would consider a more serious type of relationship. I do know how to do that. Really, it would just be nice to actually get to the hello, how do you do it is nice to meet you face to face moment. Seems to never happen. |

hey, don't give up hope..just when you least expect it - it will happen! I know what you mean about falling off the radar, happens very easily on here, it seems that there is a short window when you have someone's attention and if you don't jump you miss it  I thought that was more likely to happen for a guy though (falling off the radar) as you ladies have so much choice on here....Anyway if you are enjoying the hunt keep going .. that's my advice! X

Hello Mimi, Im Miklo here at the site. How are you? As far as I know, no one really courts a young lady like back in the day..its all computerized and what not. Im from the old school where I had to face them to let them know I was interested. Sometimes it went good and other times not so well. No one likes to be rejected but its a fact of life and goes hand in hand with trying to establish a connection with someone. Some people handle that better than others. So be careful hon. Good luck in your search, you should have no problem as far as I can see. Miklo

Ugh, this seems to sum up the whole of internet dating... Chat with someone, seem to hit it off.... Then nothing much. No one really seems up to meeting face-to-face. Maybe, someone does come along more available, prettier, sexier... at least internet-wise, and takes their mind away.... for a time, at least, distractions, anyway nothing seems to come to anything on these sites...  Hard to believe you'd have much problems as one of the cutest, sexiest girls here, but maybe just a problem with internet dating in general.... oh, I have a bad habit with ellipses, I know....
