 Yes. That's the way it goes when you first sign up. Whether you are a free member of a Gold member. Then it quiets down. Some Gold members allow free members to contact them, like I do, but you have to pay for it. Supposedly (operative word) if a Gold member e messages a free member, the free remember can read and reply. Don't hold me to that, because I've heard complaints from a few Gold members that they've had trouble contacting free members, but that has not been the case for me.
