While it may be preaching to the choir at Local Adult Companion, I still think it's a worthwhile article to read.

I've been in an open relationship for four years now and it's been going quite well. What I've found is that open relationships really have the same problems as<b> monogamous </font></b>relationships.

One difference is that it's really not for everyone. Monogamy allows you to gloss over certain things because of common assumptions and expectations. You can't do this in an open relationship because there is no pre-constructed framework wiith which everyone is familiar.
