The Silent Treatment

The one weapon I wield against male stupidity is the silent treatment. It is better for me not to speak from a place of anger anyway. The lash of my tongue can be quite severe especially to the indoctrinated. I would think men would appreciate a verbal timeout, but in my experience most men get really aggravated by it. My first husband would allow me to carry on for weeks at a time. Most will force me to knock it off after a week. My current guy can't stand two days of this treatment. He will start a full on brawl cursing and screaming in my face. I don't even speak that much on an average day so why the behavior is so annoying I will never understand.
