Poor Editing

You know what's irritating? People who don't proofread their posts and messages. I can understand the occasional fat-fingered misspelled words here and there. But it seems most of our society just simply flunked their 5th grade language classes!

 Even worse are error-riddled profiles, they drive me up my last wall!

PROTIP: Those can be EDITED people. Anytime you want! At your leisure! I can usually excuse typos in IMs & even emails. But there really is no excuse for profiles that are poorly written, grammatically dubious, and full of horrible spelling!

There. Now I feel MUCH better now . . .

 You know, I think the worst of all is when someone can't even properly spell the name of the town they live in. I've seen that on this site several times. I wonder how they can successfully find a job not knowing how to do that.

 I agree with your comments. Misspelling words on purpose to be "cute" or "cool" actually achieves the opposite, in my opinion. Written profiles that are poorly constructed are pretty bad, as well.

 I was just browsing the blogs and came across yet another post that I'm scratching my head trying to decipher:

"...lookin for others to meet n june 6th to?.ill be on the hot rod power tour.a big car show.so if youre into cars thats cool too. but dont have to be but ill be close n champaighn on the june 7th. would love to..."

I pasted this one in, verbatim. Of course, as the ellipses show, I excluded the first few and last few words. I think you get the gist.

Does this guy really think this is enticing to anyone? It's all gibberish to me.
