Yes, I was testing out a new design for the blogs and groups... got some great (ok mostly negative) feedback on thing to improve. Yes, all posts in that time are in the new system. Hopefully can address issues soon. There are a lot of things members don’t like here and changing the blogs to groups is yet another. The blogs had and still has unaddressed problems which make them problematic to use – eliminating them is not a fix. Eliminating them is a failure to understand the situation. Failure to communicate that changes are coming and how to navigate them is a constant here. Site failures are a constant here. From what I am reading here and on others posts the only one who is interested in a change vs. fixing the problems is – you. You have blogged before and chose not to in this, and many other, situations. In other words you have been and remain by choice – out of touch. That is disrespectful of the bloggers specifically and of all members in general. Do something to FIX the current blog problems or leave the blogs alone. Some realities: The only thing A*F*F has going for it is its uniqueness the blogs being a significant part of that. I suggest you read [post 4406705] . Unfortunately my guess would be a failure to understand the meaning of what the bloggers have written. Most groups are either empty or sausage fests or boxed into subjects I, and evidently many others, have zero interest in. Being boxed into groups only you think are useful is not useful. The magazine is dead and covers a lot of the same ground the blogs do. So maybe, just maybe, merge the magazine into the blogs (after fixing NOT changing them) increasing the blogs readership. I suspect you haven’t understood a word of this. Your actions and more specifically inactions are evidence of that. Your reply, if any, will be tone deaf – running for political office is better suited for that skill set. In the end this is your sandbox to do with what you want. Don’t make it a kitty litter box. Actually, you could still see your 'Favorite Bloggers List'. What was difficult was to find brand new - random - blogs; THEY were mixed up with everything posted on Erotic Stories, and Magazine. It was a cluster! However, one good thing was that I (*Standard member*) was able to see the COMPLETE profile of anyone I visited; you can read it ALL. I learned so much more about you, for example. (*BTW, you make a clear point about what you're looking for*) ; so THAT was an eye-opener AND surprising. It's one of the positives I took away from the brief time they flipped things upside down. THAT, was the most (*only *) positive thing that I noticed. Yep... I was lucky enough to miss it as you know we have lots of flex alerts going on here and I stay off the computer in the late afternoon and evening now. I will be so glad when all these flex alerts are over. I am so glad that everything got fixed and you might want to check out Spunkycumfun's blog he reached out to Andrew, and I think you will want to see how Andrew replied to him.. I both saw the new format, and was posting just as it got rolled back. Didn't even have much a chance to explore and try to understand it. im not ready to try n navigate the newness. Especially without a users guide. Same mess happened 2 weeks ago. Icouldnt find you guys...i missed you. Not wanting to join a group or community to just respond to a blog. Maybe if i liked the content....i would..but otherwise....nah! .......and whats this umber thing mean. I was a 7.6 or something... Yeah....i saw it..and participated in .....The Twillight Zone ~~ ....unwillingly , of course  Pagan  Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

One nice thing about the "new" blog system (and probably the ONLY nice thing about it!) was the absence of the "popular" blog portion. One thing I did notice though is participants of the blogs are "graded" as to their participation and assigned "Levels". This appears to be derived from blogs posted, numbers of responses, etc. So there are still some "popularity" wars that are going to happen. Same shit, different label, right? Pagan Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

The "new" owner of this site, Mr. Andrew Cornu (who originally owned the site), is back and making some DRASTIC changes to the blogs. What you saw yesterday turned out to be his idea of beta testing the "new" blog set up. It's a fucking mess and very difficult to navigate. It requires people to join Groups, follow Channels and all sorts of other crap. He's re-set it to the old version for now, but he's planning to drop the bombshell on us again sometime soon. Nice, huh? Pagan Hmmmm....I know I left that wand around here somewhere!

Was it just me or was everyone redirected to a groups page yesterday when you clicked on the Blogs link? There is also a 18 hour gap from Jul 31 11:21 am to Aug 1 6:20 am with only 1 posting. *que Twilight Zone music* When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
