I am on a PC in my study when I visit this site or, for that matter, any site on the internet. It's private in that no one is looking over my shoulder but it's public because people know what I'm doing.

The other situation that occurred to me, when I was writing in favor of a filtering option, is that my 27” iMac monitor is in front of a window that can be seen from my neighbor’s back yard. I’ve never really tested whether it’s possible to see the monitor through the window, nevertheless I try to remember to keep that shade pulled down when browsing A FF. It would be nice to not have to think about it. ..

So my fellow bloggers and Local Adult Companion members, where do you view My Best Assets and Local Adult Companion too? I have my system in the privacy of my room now and have a view down the hallway for anyone who might be heading my way, so I have more than enough time to minimize the screen if I think someone will glance. Before we relocated to current locale, I shared a "computer room" with another household member. It was a spare bedroom at one time, but was big enough for two peeps to have their desks and crap at opposing ends of the room and still have space enough to walk in and out comfortably, without bumping each other. I generally would wait until I knew everyone else was either asleep (later hours), or at least preoccupied with something else in another room. I kept an ear out for anyone who might try to sneak up on me and get a curious glance over my shoulder, but it never happened.  I waited until peeps were asleep if I wanted to view any live camming.
