why is it hard for people to answer u back

I have wrote several ladies n couple on here n no one has answer me back. so why is it so hard to take 10 second r so to write people back n say no think u , r some thing, can any one answer my question??

 I totally agree with LisaLipgloss and tresennui. I used to try to answer everybody, and while some guys thanked me for taking the time to politely decline, others got defensive and wanted to know why I wouldn't give them a chance. Some people are going to be rude no matter what you do.

If someone writes me something thoughtful and polite, in complete sentences, I am more likely to respond, but still, I say on my profile that I'm not really looking, so it isn't my fault that guys are writing me anyway.

 Unfortunately, responding "sorry, not interested" all too often is taken as "oh good she responded, she must be interested". Easier to not respond sometimes.

 happens to me also not very many peoplle answer back and most of them are not on line when it says they are and you lose a point for that

 Perhaps they haven't read your message yet, or they aren't able to read your messages. I have asked in my profile for people to be sure they open the proper portals on their Profile Page just below their photo that allows Standard Members to receive Messages from them and be able to answer back, but many people still get it wrong and I can't message them back. Other than that, all I can say it's pure ignorance...I guess?

 For me, I usually answer although not necessarily when the writer uses letters instead of words. I don't like guessing at the meaning or having one more thing to figure out.
