NYC Recording Studio 1980's
NYC Recording Studio 1980's Okay - you can tell I'm bored at the moment... My mind is wondering thinking about my past. I used to work at a major recording studio in NYC 79 - 84 on west 57th. I know my chances are slim - maybe 1% chance of someone who worked in the industry in NYC is on Local Adult Companion. Thinking it's worth a shot... The days of 2" audio tape, 24 track Neve and SSL consoles, Studer tape machines. Racks and racks of processing gear I miss the old days of mixing, being young, and living in NYC My days of R 'n R Holly ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ |

I could go on and on forever and the years I've spent living and working in NYC. Lived at 2350 Broadway between 85th & 86th Street. A place called Bretton Hall. Worked on W 57th between 8th & 9th Ave. Heck the subway was .50 cents. The clubs... Danceteria, Limelight, Peppermint Lounge, Hurrahs, Trax, CBGB's, etc... Being in the recording industry we hit all the clubs. Loved the fashions - Bought my clothes at Trash & Vaudeville and Fiorucci. Such great times. Thanks for reading and the comment. And the comment about my photo. ~Holly Atlantic City, NJ
