A Peaceful Day

A Peaceful Day

'Twas a tranquil day in the merry month of May,
with puffy white clouds drifting lazily through the
brilliant blue skies.

The sun cheerily shining in the early afternoon to
warm the hearts of man and beast and to lighten
their minds of their worries and cares.

Busty robins sing their sweet songs of cheer and
goodwill, serenading every passerby.

A warm, pleasant breeze gently blows and whispers
softly through the tall, colorfully adorned leaves of the
ancient oak trees as it rushes past the cool blue waters
of the city pond telling wonderful tales of adventure and
intrigue.

Butterflies flit to and fro among the pink rose bushes
brightening gloomy souls with their beautiful, graceful
dance making everyone's day even more cheerful and bright,
making for a wonderful and lovely, most peaceful day.
