Free Agency... So I walked in to my Boss' office on Monday and told her I was tired off my current job and that I was looking to move on. I've been working with the same place for 10+ years and for the most part have been doing effectively the same thing that entire time. My salary has nearly tripled and I've had my title change twice, but I didn't really feel like I was making any actual career progressions, and alas, decided it might be best to try my hand at something else. It's a scary thought, thinking about leaving something you have been doing for so long. I feel like as old as the furniture in our building some days though, and all good things must come to an end. While I'm terrified at the thought of picking up and moving on elsewhere, I'm exhilarated by the possibilities ahead! Anyone else make any recent drastic life changes? What told you it was time to make a change? |

I went through a huge life change about a year ago, and am still adjusting. It takes time, but once you realize that it is a good thing and for the best, things do get easier. Wish you much luck in your new adventure.  Dreaming2nite

Umm don't know if its what you were actually meaning but my hubby and I recently made the drastic change of moving into an Open Marriage. After three years of no sex between us and becoming more of best friends than husband and wife we hoped that this would help. And boy has it helped. We are more in love now then when we first met 30 years ago. Change can be an amazing thing. Scary yes, the unknown always is but if we hadn't of taken the plunge and made this change who knows where we would have been now. Good Luck with your future
