Socks and Sinus Infections Feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of coworkers who stop by your office to 'ask a quick question'?? I have a solution! in sick for a day and it'll be a veritable ghost town! Tumble weeds will be the only thing rolling past your office door after you return. Trust me... By the end of the day Wednesday, I felt like I wanted to die. Sneezing, snotty nose, head ache and body aches... Not gonna lie, I was a little concerned. Concerned to the point that I scheduled a COVID test. Turns out I had a sinus infection only, thank God, and was able to return back to work today. Have you ever noticed how your head gets foggy when you're taking medication? I was headed to my office from the front of the store, this morning, when a voice from behind me was trying to get my attention. "Ma'am" "Ma'am" "Excuse me, Ma'am!" Turning in what felt like slow motion, I looked to see a woman behind me holding a black sock. "Ma'am! You dropped this near the front of the store." "I did??" She must be mistaken.... "Yah, I think it came out of your pant leg, to be honest." It took me a second, in my foggy state, to realize I had a fucking sock in my pant leg and wore it to work, worked part of the day, and never even felt it. "Oh my God, I'm so embarrassed!" Yep, I wanted to die. "Could have been worse... It could have been a pair of panties." Yep, that would have killed me. They'd have to carry my body off on a cart with the tumble weeds. "Thank God for small miracles...." Might I also add, thank God for antibiotics, thank God I didn't have COVID, and thank God it's Friday! |

Secret_lade, Lol on your story...too funny😁. Happy to hear you are feeling better.😘 In regards to your story...if it was your panties that dropped out of your pants...would it had been a thong, high cut bikini pair, or cotton panties? If you need someone to help you shave those lovely legs and between those inner thighs...let me know😘

I'm glad you're on the mend. I'm on a week's course of antibiotics myself...my legs are killing me! (okay not exactly but they are both bandaged). Sock it to me baby!

Heh... I used to do mixed loads of family laundry until the day I put a pair of my son's sweatpants away and noticed a pair of my panties static-ed to the inside of one of the legs!!! Poor kid would have had to change schools! I find dryer sheets inside my yoga pants all the time mid-day... you'd think the very thing that was meant to prevent sticking, would be the last thing to get stuck but here we are. Apparently I suck at laundry.

dang! socks coming outta your pant legs, bras coming out of your sleeves, you're like a magician! *poof* And... She disappears, leaving only a cheetah print mask and a kleenex.

One solution might be to hold your slacks by the waistband and give them a few good snaps before you step into them.

Lol. I went to work one day with my then wife's pantyhose stuck inside my shirt and didn't discover it till later in the morning when something was tickling my neck/chin area. I felt it and started pulling on it and a pair of pantyhose slowly revealed themselves from the open neck of a pullover shirt I was wearing. I usually dressed in the dark in my bedroom at the time as I left for work before anyone else got up. Should have had one of those mirrors by the door to do a check before heading into the public.  I had a sinus infection earlier this fall. Doesn't work out well with a mask and people look at you funny when you pull your mask down to whipe your nose but they stay away from you.

Sad but true... I have had panties fall out of the pant leg before, too. How do I not notice this shit is missing when I'm folding laundry??? Especially the missing sock....
