I used to enjoy blogs

But Im starting to dislike the growing number of attention seekers that seem obsessed by posting 4/5/6 posts one after the other. Doing this stops other new bloggers being seen more by clogging up the few spaces on the recent blogs list. Last night 10 of the 20 recent post list were taken up by just 2 bloggers. Does anyone else think Im right ?

I agree. It can only be that they are bored and have no life. I suppose they think that it will make them seem important.

I don't care for them - just after the points - but on the plus side there's only so many points they can get so they soon stop.

I don't care for the photo-bloggers (endless vacuous posts, empty except for photos... which aren't even of them) and the multi-posters (three or four posts a day, every day, even when they have nothing much to say... ever).

But the whole point about the blog is (or should be) that not any one of us has the right to say what other people should or should not do. There is no single arbiter of quality. or taste. And the blogs that don't fit into your preferences are a minor nuisance, easily avoided

Hey, stop being rude. Bloggers can blog as often as they want. That's what Bloggers do and what Blogging is for.
Some folk can only blog at the weekends and have stored up stuff all week that they need to say before they explode.
To say that these folk have no life is just mean and thoughtless. Be a bit more tolerant people!

Those who also post one right after the other are trying to get as many viewers as possible to become the top blogger. Remember they have the same rights just as long as they don't hurt anyone. I find this to be annoying, and soon start to avoid them so I would give you the same advice just avoid them.

I ignore that which does not interest me and read randomly. How people post and what they post if their choice. We are not here to be judge, jury and executioner.

I totally agree with Pocogato, she's right we are not here to be judge and jury about who blogs and how many blogs they blog per day. Its called blog land for a reason and this is what some of the bloggers do here.

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Quality not quantity. And that goes for the blogs too.

A blogger who posts three or four times a day doesn't necessarily make for an interesting blog. If there's something personal about the posts, then that might appeal to some people. If it's just multiple regular posts on fact/facts of the day or something along those lines, it's unlikely to interest me.

Personally I'm not so keen on blogs that contain just photos - either of themselves, or people engaged in sexual acts, or those "motivational" phrases - I don't often find anything engaging to comment on.

But, as has been said, there's very little in the way of blog rules so people will post regular and often if it is attention that they seek.
