Taking My Place It is so hard to say goodbye. I know you hate it when I cry. Its because of you I found my smile... I had not had one for a while. It's true I was sitting in denial. Like the accused awaiting trial. I tried being strong and walk away... But thoughts of you stole my day Consumed with the idea that if we played, You'd change your mind, beg me to stay! But now I hear there's someone new. You've introduced her to your crew. And pretty soon she'll take my place, Though just another pretty face. Maybe she's used to just fill space? You need to write the follow up. Thinking a good listen to Journey's "Who's crying now" or "Lovin', Touchin' Squeazin" then apply them in your own words with "Karma's a Bitch". I personally would love to read about how the table has turned.
