 I agree with you. I myself don't like to be rude but will sometimes have to just get a point across. but I do my best to not be disrespectful.

 Proper manners are lacking certainly not only here but in every day life, takes effort to treat others with common courtesy sprinkled with a wee bit of respect. That said folks also act out a bit differently online than when out & about in every day situations so you never know for sure here if they are what they claim to be.

 My sleep is so elusive that when someone wakes me up with text calling me a stupid woman and a devil woman my first thought is that he's talking to the wrong person not me. But when I say who are you talking to and what are talking about and they continue with the abuse I'm now angry.

More angry that I was awaken with this foolishness than the actual text I think

 Oh, I agree. We're all adults here. A little honesty goes a long way. If I'm not someone's type, I would rather they tell me that than me waste a lot of time trying to pursue something they don't want. Just tell me up front, no hard feelings.
